Oak Wood School GCSE Examination Results 2020
A record-breaking year for Oak Wood School students, who have achieved the school's best ever GCSE results with a record number of students achieving high grades. Students excelled in all areas of study and have been rewarded with outstanding academic achievement.
This impressive set of results has once again confirmed the school’s improving standards and expectations for all students, to enable them ‘to dream, to learn and to grow’.
English and Maths results are the best the school has ever achieved with pass rate of 61%. Fantastic results were also achieved in Science, with 64% of all students achieving a pass. Notably two students achieved double 9 grades and over 11% of all students achieved grades 7 and above.

- Rafi who achieved 5 Grade 9s and 4 Grade 7s
- Arif who achieved 2 Grades 9s, 4 Grade 8s and 3 Grade 7s
- Aksharan who achieved 2 Grades 9s, 3 Grade 8s and 4 Grade 7s
- Alfie who achieved 2 Grades 9s, 4 Grade 8s and 2 Grade 7s
We are exceptionally proud of every student and what they have achieved this year and we wish them success and happiness in their future. We are delighted that a significant number of students are remaining to study in our high performing Sixth Form.
